I guess it was a hiccup. Sting can complain all he wants, yet he still hired Vinnie again, his bandmates think he is the greatest, and for some on HOD, Vinnie with Sting is one of the holy grails.

makes 'em human ...love it...Willyz is right...gotta stay in the moment.

I think Vin gets BORED...creative gurus gotta make it fresh, take risks...walk the edge...
Sting needs to chill...got nothin' to prove anymore...

Drummers gotta hold it together when the ship sinks...we dream WHERE's ONE!

I'm really not digging the sound of Vinnie's drums...

I don't think we can blame Vinnie for this one.
Sting looses the "one" after he sings -"when we first meeeeeeeeet", you can hear it in the baseline, he drops one beat and makes 5 into 1 and then Vinnie doesn't adjust untill after the Umbrella line where "big" is supposed to be on the one.
And, Vinnie didn't play to crazy where Mr. Stng lost it, but, all is well that ends at the same time... and they did.

I believe it was "Vinnie, do it again without any of that f*#%ing fol-di-rol f*#%ing baroque drumming."

lol - maybe vinnie was bored.

Haha I love it how Sting called it "baroque drumming".

Let's not kiss Vinnie's arse here chaps. Surely this is a case of Vinnie overplaying so much that he causes his fellow musicians (and bandleader) to loose their place. If you or I were to do that on a gig... we'd get -1.
