I thought that was Tony Thompsn on drum set? I really like Tony's drumming back then.

He took the world by storm when he came out with his first solo CD. Set a new standard. A true master artist, loved and hated. He even changed the way drums sound ... I have nothing but 'awe' and respect and love for this man. Even Vinnie took inspiration from his work. And then some....stellar live drum mix done by himself

I really enjoy the 'Power Station' albums, even if the second one wasn't great. I liked Robert Palmer's 'Riptide' as well. Yamaha RCs with coated Ambassadors all around for most if not all of those 80's sessions if I recall.

Which tunes did he lay down on 'Let's Dance''? I really like that album. Some of it was Omar as well.
