Thanks, Paul!

Lovely clip; spectacular and very clean/pure playing from everyone. Great composition, tight unit.

I've seen Potter live many times and you just know that he's going to have an awesome band every time. He sure knows how to pick drummers that compliment his writing and playing style perfectly.

I saw Nate w/ Pat Metheny a few nights ago in a small town in NY called Homer...400 seat auditorium. First show on the Side Eye tour in US...killin'. Pat picked some great tunes that night. Always interesting format w/ Metheny. First several tunes were just Pat & Nate...holy cow who needs a bass player- phenomenal. He has great dynamic range. Whisper quiet at times but smokin. Young keys player was outstanding as well. Small 3 piece kit. 20" kick. 2/3's show with sticks, 1/3 brushes. Probably the 10th time I've seen Pat since First Circle/Still Life...you wont be disappointed if you can catch this. Sound was impeccable

One thing I think makes Nate stand out: he's got a very fat/warm sound and pocket reminiscent of a top-notch pop/rock studio guy but with jazz and gospel sensibilities. It's a very unique and wonderful combination. Just saw him with his group Kinfolk, which draws on his diverse musical influences, and so it's not a surprise to see the seasoned pop/rock thing come out in his playing.
