At 1:30 there is some sick stuff going on. Looks like a pretty hard lick to pull off and with the power he executes with.

Here's another recent solo. Lots of killer instinct in this one. The movements at 2:28-2:38 are as fluid and fast as ever
and his signature polyrhythmic bass drum meter change-groove is stronger than ever at 4:00. Also at 6:12 and onwards there are lots of insanities going on.

I've seen many solos of his but this has got to be one of the wildest, aggressive, most powerful ones he did. That's an example that taking a leak before playing is imperative :D

Not sure if this has been posted. Lang and Coleman are watching the Virlusionist working his magic.

Virgil is in the studio with Watanabe and Berlin, in Japan:

And the OTV DVD is just about ready to hit the stands, as far as I can tell.
I haven't seen one bit of it yet, but I'm looking forward to this one.

Been listening to the new album In This Life, it really is an excellent piece of work, has everyone else heard it? The playing all round is pretty outrageous, probably more so for the other guys other than Virgil!!! By that I mean to hold down super tight almost quantised phrases whilst someone solos underneath is tough!
