That auctioneer thing was great, regardless of the poster's intention, wouldn't mind having a go myself, I wonder if there is a score available?
On a side note, I must say that considering Virgil stated that he recorded the clinic using only 2xshure sm23 overheads, and a kick and snare mic, pretty good results...any ideas what the kick and snare mics were...old faithfuls d112 and sm57?

This is the video interpretation of 'Red Air', taken from my new record 'In This Life'. For those familiar with the record version, you will notice it's an alternate drum take. Special thanks to the musicians for their remarkable performances.

Carl King did such a wonderful job with these videos. One more might get edited and aired .gif)
We (Virgil's online team) are so happy to see these latest videos work so well for Virgil. 3,000 new FB fans this week
Also, Irwin Thomas is one of my all time favorite guitarists. Indeed, Australia has produced at least 5 amazing guitarists, all of whom have
played with Virgil. Tommy Emmanuel, Frank Gambale, Simon Hosford, Brett Garsed and Irwin Thomas.

Keep in mind Virg is in his mid 50's...all the more uberhuman
That one vid...page 14 was insane...I agree w/Steve, at times
I get bored, but not that one. I feel the same w/Vinnie...when
there is a story of ideas, I am more entertained...even if it for
technical purposes ala clinic or whatnot.

Unbelievable...it's great not all drummers enter into the 'oh, I play less notes now (I'm mature)...and I just let the sticks do all the work' phase.

Listening to Red Air, I kept thinking about Tony Williams Lifetime.
TW and that band really laid the foundation for all of this imo.
