Fundraising ressouces for musician in need?

Postby Tombo 7/4 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 6:28 am

Hey! It's been a while since I've been here and on the net in general.
Been busy sending device in space to Chris Hadfield, great musician by the way. Check this out:

Drumming, I got a new fusion-funk band. We play some Oz Noy, Stanton Moore, Scofield and classics like Red Baron, The Chicken,...
Still practice a lot of guitar. Stuck in rock but I like it. Playing in a Sabbath Tribute.

I'm writing to know if you guys are aware of reliable fund raising resources on the web. I remember having seen some links here.
I have a musician friend in need in the US and I have to do something. I'm not on social networks, looking for something that is not a scam, discreet but efficient.

Thanks!

Good to hear from you Tombo! It's cool that you're involved with some serious "Out Of This World" opportunities!! Yes, pun intended!! ;) I think a recent one was a contribution with Peter Gabriel's stage designer genius Robert Lepage if I remember correctly?

Glad you're still playing 'hem drums... :)

Sorry, can't help you much on that fund raising thing.. :(
