What, ever? What do you do when you re-head? Just leave the new heads in the same room as the tubs overnight, and when you come down in the morning they're on, seated and tensioned? Wow. Got to get me some of those... ;)

THIS was some great music! Dave's snare sound is a perfect fit for this music and his toms.
As great a player we all embrace him for, his consistent dedication to SOUND is as
satisfying! He GETS IT...he takes the time and effort to ask, "What will my audience
hear when I am behind the kit?" No matter what venue/room he plays in, he makes
his sound come through...no excuses...make it happen. Love that!

Nice grab Juan...as always bro!

^^^^ I don´t like much the A part of the tune but...from the minute 2.30 it´s awesome (great solos from everyone)...The truth must be told: Weckl has some soloing facility) (I refuse to put a emoticon informing that my previous sentence is ironic).

+1...I went to the Yammie side back in April. I've been playing Gretsch since 1980 but have always been a fan of Yamaha since i first heard Gadd's RC's. I LOVE my Gretsch Customs but I went through a late mid-life thing earlier this year and had to have an Oak Custom...found one in all the sizes I wanted at a steal so I dropped the bread for them. I LOVE this kit too...best part is, tone wise, they have a similar quality to the Gretsch (did I mention I LOVE my Gretsch Custom) only more focused. They do tune well and these Oaks have a very versatile, wide tuning range. as far as their hardware goes, it's the most intelligently designed, practical and roadworthy hardware on the planet!! I've been using Yammie HW for decades now.

There are quite a few videos floating out there of this tune. This clip is one of my favorites.
