I picked up that Tom Coster CD mentioned above. After listening to it about four times, I gotta say, the tunes are really weak. The drumming is fierce, and everyone plays amazingly, but there's no music. It's just wanking and flailing with no interaction between any of the players.

saw dennis w/ mike stern/bill evans at the irridium last night - i almost didn't recognize dennis - lost a ton of weight- band was killin'! - hope dennis is well

Seems like Chambers is pulling a serious Colon Pipe in that Will Lee vid...which would be totally fine if they weren't playing what they're playing. Just strikes me as odd is all...

That's Dennis!? Doesn't look like him at all. He lost a ton of weight. Maybe he wanted to shed some pounds to be healthier. Easier on the heart and vital organs. Mike Stern is silly.
