The JayZ song uses a sample from an old song from the 70's; it's debatable if Zach was doing an homage to JayZ or this actual song (below); I'm betting on the song below. doesn't really matter, fun stuff...

Ok....here's something special:
I attended a workshop with Zach for one week in 1996.
I found the sheets (practice material) which he handed out.
He would practice that stuff (especially the groupings in 16th notes).

Did Zach write a book in limited distribution? Judging from the "audio example" stamps and the fact that in a MD interview he talked about writing one I thought he might have released one for Collective students.
