Hi Guys,
So I just did a clinic at the Drum Shop North Shore in Beverly, MA and captured it on my new Zoom Q4 camera. I just started to release some footage from it. Here is the first excerpt:
Thanks for checking it out....

Here's another short excerpt from the same clinic--a 9 against 4 crossover polyrhythmic idea. The 9 can be heard on the small tom.

Hi Guys!
Here's the first "full" clip from the drum clinic--a Latin drum solo taken from a section in the clinic in which I am demonstrating the use of polyrhythms in various contexts. If this (or any of the other vid's I've posted) generates any questions, I'd be happy to help in any way I can--hoping to be a profitable forum member. Or if you end up simply checking it out, I hope that you enjoy it. Thanks, HOD friends! :0)

Another short clip: 20 seconds of Duodecuplet step-hat variations...

I thought I had the embedding thing down, but now it doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure if I'm doing something differently?

Here you go:
.. the issue is the "feature" URL keyword, just remove that and you're good to go .. the URL I used was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm1qAYjGDPw

Thanks so much, Steve Holmes!
I decided that I would put up one last clip from the clinic I did at the Drum Shop North Shore in Beverly, MA. This is a two-minute drum solo based upon a polymetric groove loop in my drum machine. In the context of the clinic, this was a continuation of the blushda variations, which you will hear in the solo. There is also a demonstration of playing extended over-the-barline linear phrases at the end. Thanks in advance for watching--Steve

Love your playing Steve. Thanks for posting that last clip. Want to hear more of you on fusion records. You have anything on the horizon? The Steve Hunt stuff is great stuff. You have that Gary Novak fire. Nice touch also.
