The execution is off the hook! It's a little Stick-Controlly at times, but totally entertaining. It's a great solo.

AFA sound, I listen on a decent rig<-->computer, and while acknowledging that it could be the mix, the snare drums are flaccid in comparison to the kit. The side snare is too low for whatever the drum is and basically amounts to a splat, while the primary drum, in the mix, is one-dimensional and rather neutered compared to the presence of the kit.

I think that type of modern Dunnett metal snare sound as well as what I just cll the typical DW snare is what many guys go for these days. Don't care much for it myself.

The toms. Offcourse there's no more beautiful, warm and satisfying drum sound than a Gretsch tom. :D
