Shane will hook you up.

Even as a Norwegian that's where I've bought most stuff from.

DCPM even tune the drums when they do demos. I know. :o It's shocking.

I'm quite excited as I've just ordered a 14 x 5 Gretsch silver series maple snare, my first ever Gretsch product. :) It's coming from Germany, ETA Wednesday. Not quite in the same league as the Brooklyn range, but it sounds really nice to my ears.

For the absolute best prices, you can't beat Cascio: http://www.interstatemusic.com

You would have to order the drums and wait a few months though.

Also, consider getting USA Custom drums in satin finish. They're marginally more than the Brooklyn. Brooklyn are nice too though. A bit of a different sound. I do prefer the die-cast hoops myself.

This is with a 14" floor: http://www.interstatemusic.com/879966-G ... 603SM.aspx

Or buy these, order the 20" BD and keep both BDs for extra versatility...

Can't beat that. Those tiny nicks aren't a big deal. Scoop that up.

Thanks guys...yes. I saw that ebay listing...I bought new drums once in 1979 and again yesterday. I ended up paying only slightly more than the above ebay listing (including shipping) for a new Brooklyn kit. The wait is 4-5 months. I did see the site you refer to Paul but probably didnt explore it enough...they did stand out as one of the best price wise.

Congratulations. It's always exciting to get new drums. Don't forget to shoot video of your "unboxing"....
