I could be wrong, but I am hearing the snare accent on beat 3 (4/4 time) - like a half time thing...
I'm hearing it the same way - as almost a halftime shuffle with the kick/keys unison hits on the 'ah' of 1 & beat 2.
Spaven is unreal. Has done a lot of work with Jose James & Flying Lotus.
