Evidently, Vinnie is over being taped! lol
I guess he feels he can control things this way.

This is the result of the music industry today..those who have been
around forever (not a new idea over past ten years and more)
are trying to get revenue with online schools. Good for them!
Vinnie should get paid for content--he and everyone else are getting
ripped off daily by people committing "white collar crime" and
justifying it with endless debate. I have always felt artists should
record the recording process "making off..." and sell this or use it
as part of their membership privileges. Virgil has been doing this
for some time now correct?

If this is a membership type site like Virgil's membership site I wonder
about...

Is there some agreement that a member will NOT share or distribute
content without written permission ala FBI DVD? There is just no
way to lock content today with technology and recording devices
"screen capture"...then it is a matter of conscience after that to
NOT upload in a forum for millions to view.

Witness the process as Esperanza Spalding documents the exploration of the most fundamental elements of inspiration, spontaneity, and improvisation live for 77 hours on Facebook.

Very interesting idea. There's a pretty sizable risk for the consumer to spend 50 bucks on a CD that will be made this way, but if anyone can pull off a piece of music that would be worth such a high cost gamble, it would be her. She's so fucking talented.

I had experienced serious lagging during the live show, I just watched the OnDemand version with minimal lagging at the beginning, went just fine after that. Minimal sound glitches every now and then. That's why you do a pilot to uncover such glitches, fix 'hem and move on.

The stellar musicianship throughout is truly inspiring.

Bravo to Vinnie, the band, Paul and team for pulling this off. Looking fwd to the next show!!

I'm in live with this woman! What a spirit! JR Robinson sitting
w/Dom had a very positive attitude about things today..he did
not deny what is happening but seems to look at what is possible
and create or work within or around and Esperanza is doing just that here...

Totally! Also, have you seen Kandace Springs? Looks like Esperanza and has a sizeable amount of talent too.

1) Told there's no content registered to account.
2) Can't order again as they can't find my email from Facebook, whatever that means?

Order definetly went through as I did try to wach it live.

Probably should just ask to get my account deleted and register again?

Go here and click the FAQ & Support link in the top left corner. Then fill out the form at the bottom asking for support.

Got a reply quickly and it now works.

Cleared and restarted etc.. many times, don't know how, but what made the difference was changing my password.

I've watched the first episode and I think it's fantastic. I love the passion and the soul of it - I really think soul is lacking in a lot of projects involving great drummers... But everything here is about technique supporting the music not the other way around. There's such great communication on display. Babko is great for this sort of thing, he has a great sound. Vinnie on the four piece absolutely blazing away. High production values. Great to have a theme - the muse - to unite the songs in each episode. I hope this business model works and there are many more.

I'd love to see one of the muses be Zappa and for Vinnie to reunite with Warren Cuccurollo and Pino Palladino, that Thanks To Frank album has some of the greatest rock drumming I've heard on it.

I have an old computer so the lag was real bad. I still sat through it and enjoyed the performance thoroughly.

It was worth the money spent . I will be there when they release the next episode.

I hope the pirates and fools dont "steal" this video and repost for free.

If I see any illegal posts or sharing of this vid I will report it instantly.
There is nothing left to say.

Disclaimer: I've still only watched this preview.

The playing is (as was expected) outrageous, but the production value seems very low.
It sounds like it was recorded on a phone...?
