So that's the guest lesson Dave was recording this weekend. :D

Yeah, right.

Never gonna happen. :(

...just listened to this song...disappointing...I could hardly recognize that it's Vinnie playing drums.

He's gotten mature.

I like Jing Xi the most.

Vinnie can play any way he wants now because he doesn't have to prove a thing. He can pocket out on this one.

I enjoyed the new Jing Chi record. It's definitely not blow your hair back blues fusion or whatever, but I doubt that's the record they set out to make. I thought the engineering was great as well, I love the way his drums sound on this record.

Me likes VC with JC here...not like he doesn't have other venues to blow hard.
I get the "i dont recognize" vinnie here...but that is something that makes him
great...i am more surprised because chop dudes always use their tools...he
is in his motown groove here...maturity or more secure or both or....in the end,
music can be served many ways...one thing is to not play a certain way because my
fans will not like me...many get caught in this it seems....freedom is serving
the song in the moment of creating...let the music speak as it will!

Hey, that first Jing lp was AMAZING...I mean one of VC's best
performances ever type amazing for me! Listening to Train Song
it will make some go, "Whaaat?" on the second lp. His hat work
is insane on that Train cut...maybe he got his inner Michael Bland
happening on the second Lp?

Nice solo in the middle of the tune.
