I'm pretty sure Louis Palmer has one - I've played it on his kit a few times now. I'm sorry, I don't know if it's the Pearl one or not, I suspect it's the high-end one.
I had never heard of this kind of device before and once I realized what it did, I immediately became concerned about creating a false impression about the output of the kit because you feel like your BD is Thor's hammer. But if the mix is where it needs to be in the house and on the stage, I could see it being very helpful. Mark P has much more experience with it and sounds like he digs it.

As long as you're not thinking you sound one way as a result of feeling it in the throne and in reality you don't, it's a pretty nifty idea.
