Vinnie Jeff Beck Triggers

Hello chaps!
Been a very very long time! Just wondering if anybody knows why Vinnie is using triggers on the Jeff Beck gig? All of the toms have triggers on them, is he using electronic Tom sounds, or is it a front of house thing?

Since he's back with Gretsch it's the only way he can get a decent sound.

Saw them last night. The three old farts and two hot young girls quintet.

I was up front, but the drums and lightning were exactly at the distance where some things weren't that easy to see.

Looks like RT-10/30s on everything. Wouldn't be suprised if there was a bit mixed in all around. Very differet sound and set from Jeff's last incarnation with Vinnie. We were in a circus tent and it was lound. Too loud.

Also had an SPD-SX, Not used for much. Tabla on Nadia, with sticks this time, as well as a melodic intro on Superstition.

Very loud stage sound sometimes there I a need to use triggers via a gate...
Think the Jeff Beck is a very Loud gig...
