Re: OFFICIAL JEFF PORCARO THREAD
The liner notes on this is pretty incredible...i think they had about three days in Dec
to get everyone together...Tandoori blew me away...love that little groove
If I remember, they could NOT make a mistake or had to do the entire side all over...
not just a track, but start from the beginning of side A or B...Jeff makes a little
mistake on one track and covers because of this. Reminded me of the recording on
Kansas Leftoverture's Magnum Opus...screwed up, start over!

Re: OFFICIAL JEFF PORCARO THREAD
Never heard this concert before...just posted. The Byron years. Luke wasn't a fan to say the least,
but the Porcaro brothers' bass - drum grooves are so tight. Girl Goodbye is studio perfect Live.
Jeff's dynamics are so spot on. Jeff leads this band at the highest level imo. This is a TIGHT
gig.

Re: OFFICIAL JEFF PORCARO THREAD
David Paich, David Hungate, Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro originally recorded this song in 1977 as a demo, with vocals by Lisa Dal Bello.
Three years later all five backed Boz Scaggs on his version produced by Bill Schnee.
