Bosch is a pretty good show; guy listens to old jazz on vinyl in his glass house on the hill, can't beat that.

Strong cast, I especially like Crate and Barrel.

Starting every episode with those drums in the intro music really wakes me up!

His dog's named Coltrane. Surprised?

Yeah, I LOVE "Isolation", Jeff plays very agressive on that one.

And, I'm a big FAN of "Stranger in Town", I remember that clip, with this great actor Brad Dourif.
Anyway, here the live take with the incredible Shanon Forrest, yeah !!!
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

You must be the only one then. It sounds like a jingle for a car commercial to me.

I guess there's no accounting for taste.

Nik Kershaw's "The Works" is a muh loved car record for me. Seems it must have flopped as the only song I've ever found him doing live from that album is "Cowboys and Indians."

The four songs that apparently made him his fortune I could do without.

I put "The Works" above Vinnie's work with Sting. ;)

I wouldn't personally go that far, but it's a great album. Creativity and production that trumps most things it would be compared with.

"Walkabout" is a favourite tune which of course has Jeff on it. Think I'll make it my new open mic song.

Guilty pleasures, I have a few, but you'll have to pry the truth out of my Spotify playlist once I'm dead and buried.

Well, in the moment if I think about some of my favorite Vinnie's work, no order :

- Secrets
- Blue Tav
- Joe's Garage
- The Works
- Sketchbook
- Nightwalker
- Supernatural (Robben Ford)
- Smile Blue (Ricky Peterson)
- Wild Things Run Fast (Joni)

But, our boy recorded SO MUCH treasure, never easy, but here what's come in my mind right now.

"Wild Things Run Fast" was almost my first exposure to Vinnie. I was 16 and Joni became my biggest musical hero for a really long time. ONe of my favourite Joni albums. Love the tune "Solid Love." That's really how I started getting into Mike as well, even though I did have "Tales from the Bulge" already.

My favourites are probably Karizma's "Document" which I got at their show in Oslo two days after I moved home from the US. Got all the guys t sign it. I wasn't drummer back then, but the show changed my approach to my guitar sound forever. Information wasn't as available back then and I got the last little info I needed from takling to Mike. It got new life some years later when I started drumming.

My favourite albums have always been live albums and Five Peace Band is right up there. If it was a tape it would have been worn out a long time ago. Lived in my car as almost the only CD for years.

Smile Blue is one heck of a great album! It gets frequent listens. Supernatural? What about Talk to your daughter? Nightwalker is brilliant. Nik K The Works gets played all the time. This is a great idea. Top 10 Vinnie albums.

I like the faster tempo of Goodbye on the the live version. just a few clicks faster than the record.

Sounds pretty dam good for 1983
