Thanks for the input and feedback guys. Much appreciated. And thanks, DSOP, for that link you provided of the minus drums play-alongs. I will check into those.
Yes, you hit it right on the nail, bclarkio - it was indeed the hypnotic effect I wanted to get and I love just playing a groove over and over like this. Especially when it feels good.

Not wanting to post a lot of stuff of my own on here, but for any one who would fancy a look, I also have a little just tom-tom based free playing bit here:
Some how the audio didn´t sync quite as well as my later stuff I did. Don´t really know why, but think it was an audio export bug in the previous version of iMovie. But that is for another forum. :)

Not too pleased with all of these clips, but as always it is a work in progress. This is the very first time I have actually filmed myself and trying to sync up some audio at the same time. It can, hopefully, only get better!

What is the sad face all about, amoergosum? Sorry if you didn´t like it. Oh well....

Juan - that is the Zildjian Armand Thin Crash 18". It is quite thin, but very sweet sounding. I got a bit tired of the usual A Customs I´ve been using for years... I tend to use that crash for quite a lot of different type of projects and bands I play in. Very versatile and I really like how responsive and light it is, yet it is full-bodied.

Amoergosum said this in his post:
"Dieses Video enthält Content von UMG. Es ist in deinem Land nicht verfügbar."

I think that what amoergosum was saying is that the James Brown clip wasn´t available from his zone, for some copyrights reason...maybe.

Hi again, guys!

I just did another one with an old favorite track of mine; "Give Blood" by Pete Townshend featuring the amazing drumming by Simon Phillips.
Thanks DSOP for the idea on filming from the side, so I thought I should try that that - and I got a idea to try and get two angles together.

It sure was a lot of fun to play.
Hope you all have a nice weekend.
