A fitting addendum to this post, over the years Joe Travers and I have become friendly - we did some double drumming recently that was super fun! Went to see him at the BP a few weeks ago with "One Shot Deal" - most of the members from ZpZ. It was amazing.

I might be joining a Zappa tribute, jamming with them tomorrow. Joe's playing is a good guidepost. I'm nowhere near his skills, going to see how it goes.
