Foo Fighters Garage Tour
Quote from an article in March:
"Foo Fighters have announced plans to play songs from the new album in the garages of eight lucky fans in eight North American cities.
They recorded in Dave Grohl's garage, so why not take that gritty garage energy to fans' houses directly?!"

Re: Taylor Hawkins
Not a big FF fan, but diggin' Rope!
Less on T Hawk below and more on the Foo's and Dave...
After listening to the HS interview and hearing C-Love on HS,
I find DG fascinating in one area. He seems to find favor in
the popularity realm. Letterman loves this guy...I have never
heard Dave give as much love to any band, and DL isn't one
for sentiment. He loves the FF's.
C-Love said Dave was the popular guy who loved extreme sports
while she and Curt were the outsiders. It seems that C-Love was
so self-absorbed in her addiction to some pretty hard core drugs,
she saw Dave's withdrawal from Curt as a way of hate rather than,
"Hey man, I don't do drugs and you guys have really amped up the
habit" in the later year(s) of Nirvana.
Fast-forward 20 years and C-Love still doesn't get how her addiction
might have blurred her vision of things back in the day. This is
classic addict behavior. Sad she has not matured past this...then again,
I can only look inside from the outer limits of interviews and what little
I know of addictive behavior patterns.
The Foo's seem to have this special place in rock history today...they
have entered the adoration stage with many fans.

....ALWAYS let the Wookie win....
Re: Taylor Hawkins
the new album is really good. love the tune A MATTER OF TIME. cool lyrics. it's a great listen from beginning to end. the only beef i have with the album is the weak drum fills in rope. otherwise the drumming is great through out. loved the howard stern interview.
Re: Taylor Hawkins
I just picked up the new FF record- and I'm in love with it...
This band gives hope towards rock 'n roll still being alive.
