Coated Powerstroke III, and black suede on the toms/snare.

What hardware is he using? Pedals?

Yamaha. I'm selling a set of those pedals (hi-hat too) if anyone is interested. I just picked up some DW pedals and I like them better than the Yamahas.

See those rubber feet on the floor tom legs? Those little things are awesome! They are made by Pearl , at least that's where I got them some 15 years ago. I've put them on Yammie legs and they really do something IMHO. A deeper warmer fatter floor tom just by leg pieces. They came with a 'power up' set that I needed for some Pearl snare. Nice to see them on Vinnie's kit.
