Jean, great job on the video man. Your passion for drumming is obvious in it, great playing as well. Thanks for sharing.

I know who he is, but my question is, what's his thoughts on your drumming ?
I mean he's a great player, hired by great musicians, his thoughts/advices could be great for you, no ?
So I can't imagine you did not ask him the same question you are asking here.

Hi Rodger,
To answer you, Sean really was not critical of anything playing wise.
He was totally supportive of the concept I had, and wore his producer
hat entirely. Perhaps if I had him over to hang, as we have done in the
past and said, here are some ideas for solo/fills using the Half Note
Triplet that I call, "Give Me Something For Saturday Night" then he
might have commented specifically on the ideas.
So sorry, I can't give you anything coming from Sean.
Truthfully, I thought initially he would have said something like,
" Wow, Wipeout is lame...are you jiving me?....this is the 90s....
who plays Wipeout these days?...."
But he did not say that...he was totally cool and pro and did his best
to help me realize the goal....using the 50th anniversary of this tune as a
vehicle for me to try to play the metric modulation ideas at ~ 5 min and 50 sec.
Thnx Rodger

Hey Jean - Nice playing, very well done! You are obviously very comfortable with what Vinnie calls "Superimposed Metric Modulation." I noticed at the end of the video you had some notes, do you care to share some of your ideas?
