Wait a tick here- a fantastic drummer is on what is arguably a dream gig for all of us, the kit was shared with us by a member of the drumming community, and all we can do is shit all over the color of the kit, the drum rack, tom arms, and other irrelevant bullshit? Please.

The kit looks great, Shannon is going to kill it with Toto, and I'm damn sure the drums sound great too. That's all I've got.

Nothing wrong with sarcasm. Its fun. You read it and move on. No need to reply to it. Contrast is fun.
I can see where some are turned off about the kit. Lots of metal. Color is cool.
Shannon plays for the music. His fills and transition ideas are tasty. He makes the music flow. He's not a soloist tho.
Simon is perfect for the toto gig. Hard to fill his shoes. Big kit. Huge sound. Drum god. Amazing musican. His time is impeccable.
