I hear it like a 5-stroke roll played over the bar line:

rrllR llrrL rrllR llrrL rrllR llrrL etc with the underlines being the 4/4 pulse and the bold being the accents.
Notice how the pulse always falls in line with a right hand stroke. This is before adding the snare, mind you.
But once you got the pattern down, it's not too hard to add the snare.

Damn accenting every 3rd 16th note while doing the 5s doesn't appear to be that easy :(

I will work on this for sure, thanks a lot for the input guys.

forget the 32nds/doubles for now

learn 16th notes with accents, which is a 4:3 thing, then try to play that with RH hiting backbeats.

Then whatever notes you aren't accenting... including the snare drum.... double.

something like this

Exactly. It may also help at first to practice it as a bar of 6/4.

Like others have said, first you need to hear/feel the groups of 3 within the flow of the sixteenths. But the 5s are just a double stroke roll with every 3rd double as a single instead. Hands still move up and down the same, if that makes sense.

rrllR_llrrL_rrllR_llrrL.... (accenting every 3rd 16th note, which is what you want here)

is very different from:

rrllRllrrLrrllRllrr.... (accenting every 5th 32nd note)
