Just the camera angle. From the overhead shot, it's a similar size to his snare.

My bad...I just missed it completely. The finish threw me. I play with a couple guys that play Fodera...I love the tone and the clarity. Of course, 90% of it is the player. I would make it sound like crap.

Tom is amazing ... above and beyond the gymnastics he can pull off when he wants, his pocket is unbelievable. So. Deep.
(He's also got perfect absolute pitch, which is a neat trick when the elevator chimes and he'll tell you with a wink, "G. A little sharp, though.")
