I had the honor of hearing a rough cut of the DVD audio track -- the whole night is great, especially Strap Hangin' and Randy's turn at rapping (!).

Hopefully this is a promo release and not a leak -- in any case, y'all should pick it up when it comes out, it's a great show.

Sold! Looking forward to this. Sound is great. Cameras all over. What's not to like. Love Dave's solo in this clip. Toms sound great. Snare is god like. Mix is perfection. I love stuff like this!

why Weckl doesn't get the bigger gigs

I've always asked that myself...he has the ego...why not get the bank and do a tour or two?
The man's got the talent to do any gig on the planet, although I do not think he would be
satisfied to do many of them. This is where Vinnie and Dave depart...Vin will play most
any gig, Dave will not. Yet, I'm sure there are a lot of commercials w/Dave on them for
spending/mortgage money. Why not use your talents to make a living? Then again, at
this stage Dave just might want to do what Dave wants to do...that's OK as well. He might
have taken that route all along.

Maybe the ego is why he doesnt get those gigs

I've met him about 5 times - a few were good and some not so good...doesn't change my opinion of his playing being some of the most influential stuff I've ever seen tho.

My dream DW concert would be him playing with Tower of Power

With who? Who is touring and actually making money? What big acts that hire sidemen are out there on tour paying big bucks? Name two.

I agree tho, its not like $$$ is being thrown around.
Bands like Nickleback/ Mana appear to be selling out areans...not gonna happen with Weckl

Daniel Adair and Animal do have some nice chops.
