That Paiste wants the create business out this, that's very logical. The way the video was shoot, the motivation Vinnie gave, contained a lot of bla bla IMHO. The Zildjian A custom promo vid was even worse ...
More importantly what is Paiste going to add to their cymbal lines...... four of the cymbals are prototypes ....

I haven't heard those prototypes and I don't mind the splashes, but I can't really dig the rest.
It makes it easier not to be considered a oure Vinnie nerd though, because when people ask I can now say that I'm going for that pre 2012 Vinnie sound.
I can use what I like without being accused of copying Vinnie.
I'm boring too. Though I'm still a novice drummer I've yet to hear a cymbal with holes in it that I could ever bond with.

all those hot air balloons in that video. That whole "ride cymbal on a stand in a room...which cymbal is that?! WOW PAISTE" was...a bit much.
