Anyway, I guess that's the way work the drum community ? I don't know...

Hey man, I don't kiss butt or sweet talk anyone when I respectively ask for something. From your reply to my original post, it seems that you probably do. I have no problem uploading and sharing all of bootleg dvd's I have of vinnie (live in germany with Karizma, and live at the baked potato 2000 with the dyno four, etc.).

I need nothing, I ask for nothing, I don't mean that you kiss butt or whatever in that way. :)

The thing is that here in HoD we know each other since very longtime, we even try to meet as much as possible. Anyway, it's really great to have new people here, but personaly I think that "1st post, asking for having a video...", it's a little bit not really a good way to join the HoD community.

But hey, it's just me, we are some cool people here so, it's ok, I guess to I'm to becoming grumpy with my old age... :)

I feel that too about first posters/askers in some way.
But everyone of us has been "new" sometime. One start beeing a guess, reading every post but not writing (see below this page). Then something push you to the next step: registering and making your first post. Vinnie has THAT pushing power, increased by the fact of 6700 views, and 20 pages of "wow" comments. I would have bitten too. Sure.

On the other hand, if only the quarter part of new registered members that have been mailed with the LINK stayed and participated regularly, it would be nice. All of them has been polite and answered back with sincere gratitude, as if I was the camera man or THE drummer !!
The internet has given me so much, in so many fields... So many GREATS web sites, files, programs, texts, pictures, graphics, videos, tutorials...made BY people, and most of the times we just enjoy it, use it, watch it, learn from it...hidden behind the anonymous mouse and so few times we just stop by and say THANKS to the creator. We do it all the time, specially those of us that use internet for work, learn and communicate. So copy and paste a non-created-by-me content link is almost nothing.

Said that, as I asked to some new people in the private messages, do not stop in the leech phase and enter to THE NEXT STEP: participe, share, help...That's the BACK TO BASICS of internet.

I must admit that I have been trolling this site for quite some time and never really felt the need to add my two cents. However, and I see this has become controversial! If someone would be ever so kind to clue me in on a li nk to Mr. Colaiuta's sound check would be very much appreciated.
Sorry about asking for something on my first post but ever since seeing the video many months ago, I haven't been able to forget it.
Thanks guys.

Hey ya'll,

The footage is no longer available where it once was. Is there any way of seeing it again? Thank you for your help.

It's the way of the Tubes. Facecrack, mycrawlspace, forumville ... it creates an entitlement mindset fed by a need for instant gratification. No thought about any sense of community, nada. I see it everywhere. Guys selling gear are lovely examples. "Hey, I'm your best buddy, buy my snare drum!" ... answer a couple of posts, sell the drum and leave until the next sale. Could be a month, could be six. Call them out and all hell breaks loose.
