Folks keep mentioning Fair Warning, I really dug the ride-bell stuff on the guitar solo of Mean Streets. So hip, and the "complexity" of it blew me away as a young drummer ( "OMG not just 8th notes!!" ) !!!

Eddie looks pretty healthy in that picture, Randy. One can only hope he's got his stuff together, because he was a freakin train wreck earlier this decade.

I really like the two tunes on the 'Best Of'. I hope the new stuff is more of the same type of thing.

I was reading an excerpt of Sammy's book, yesterday. Is Ray Danniels still managing Ed & Alex? Sammy did not paint a pretty picture of Ray, to say the least.

Also just finished RED...man...if Alex and Eddie drank half of what he mentions their liver is DOA!

Hard to believe they can still function!

Sammy's early life was tragic.

one of my favorite tracks Steve. Alex tends to play off of Eddie more than the bass (which later came out that Eddie played quite abit of the bass on the hagar era records, this according to Sammy)

Never thought I'd see so much love for AVH here! The guy is one of my all time heroes and VH with Alex and Michael is just the perfect rock rythm section. Their first album should be part of every music program, just to show how drums and bass should work together all the time.
I still have my Simmons kit, where I still try to replicate Alex's tom sound. And my rototoms :)
Also, I introduce to you, Van Halen, my cat:

So yeah, for me, new of them still working is good news, I still have hopes of seeing them live.
