The thing I don't like abut big names doing the pledge thing is that it distracts from the little guy's who don't have the resources. Even when times are bad, I understand the big guys don't have the same resources as they used to, but the point remains.

Well, you could argue that most of the fans of big names have never heard about pledgemusic or kickstarter.
So they might check out projects from the little guys and pledge money there, too.

Who needs a 10 min skype call? Give me a couple of hours man.

Another Gadd gang album. Awesome. Loved the 1990 CD. Great production. Loved the last song. Huge horns and so fucking slow. Such a deep pocket. It was almost to slow. It just dragged along. I can't stop loving you. Man I love that Gadd gang album. Gonna pick this album up fow sho. Richard Tee was the man. DuPree. That band was god like he put together. So solid. He played all of his tricks. Played lots of blues shuffles. That album had a huge impact on me. I saw that band play at the first modern drummer festival. It was way above my head at the time. But I knew I was hearing something special.

Does anybody know the status of the project so far?
