Cool! Did he supplied any special drum? His associate was versed on tuning techniques too?

It was a long time ago. I think they were Yamaha Maple Custom drums with a Ludwig Black Beauty snare. A bunch of Sabian cymbals. Nothing exotic. At one point the snare wires needed replacing and someone came out to fix it. I think I also used his services a few years later for a recording session in LA (again, this was before I lived here). I never had a problem, but I've heard some not-so-nice things about his business practices.

Nice exercises... No subs, but there´s no need. Dude can play too.
