I like to think of him as super-accurate. He leveled-up drumming for a lot of people. As influential as Gadd back then.

Oh for sure, don't get me wrong, massive respect to Weckl from the beginning. Just tend to prefer his more recent stuff, that's all.

I'm looking to see/hear Dave playing his very old music from "Contemporary Drummer + One", I'd really love to see/hear actual DW's take on his very old music, "Rainy Day", "Garden Wall", "Island Magic", and "Spur Of The Moment", I appreciate him very much, all he's done for us, awesome !!!

I Love how cool his setup is - switching on and off the vocal mic - literally switching cameras himself. He always has an exceptional setup.

They've made a new record with Dave and John Patitucci that's out on September 11th. At the end of the interview Eric talks about the Elektric Band. Apparently there is a new studio album and a live album in the works and Chick has recently acquired the masters of all the GRP albums that he's planning to re release. Maybe they'll be remastered too!

Beside his phenomenal drumming, I'm really impressed by how well equipped he is, camera angles mic sound and shit, damn, he always has been on the top of the teaching game, respect Sir Weckl.
