Thanks for hipping us to Wingwalkers. I have been collecting everything that has Vinnie on it since 1980. I just reached out to Bob McChesney and found COME SUNDAY, a 2023 release of Bobs' with Big Band that also
has Vinnie on all tracks ! He told me Wingwalkers will be released Sept 23 ! So, thanks again.

Vinnie's way of playing traditional Jazz knocks me of my feet every time, there is something lyrical or melodically that makes his drumming overwhelming 'perfect'. His touch, sound, feel, rhythmical ideas, dynamics. Totally playing the music, and yet totally him. No forcing or limitations to be heard. Is this a recent recording? I mean from after the surgery? If so, he sounds 'back on track'. Unbelievable Fresh, the whole band sounds awesome.

YES....See my post above ......SEPT 23....Vinnie traveled to LA to record this live with the other players. No home recording and file sharing on this. If you dig his jazz big band playing, get COME SUNDAY recorded 2023, also w/ Bob McChesney.

This is new for me, or includes material I didn´t see before.

Love that footage. The dotted 8th on the ride in 11 is so very Vinnie.
