Put on this a very kind voice tone:
I would give my left hand for an user name without the word "drum" in it.
...And a finger for a pronounceable one.

What about using a real name?
Ah, ok... Are you Obama, Madonna, Sting or Dennis Chambers and want to hide?
Then choose something like Donald Miller, Mark Smith or Albert Martin...
Well, I know it's a lost cause...it's just a suggestion for the future.
Sorry, but sometimes I want to write an user name in my post and I have to copy/paste.
And it's difficult to identify the users with those "creative" names, specially without a picture in the avatar.
Back to Vinnie.

I tried when I re-registered on the 'new' forum, to change my user name(Johndrum) to my real one -John Harrison, but couldn't for some reason...I seem to recall there was a general call to use real names, which I applaud, but can't do? I think it's great in the name of openness and transparency, and would love to..... Help anyone?

I remember it, John.
Don't hate me for it, please !!
Maybe you can register yourself as a brand new user.
Steve helped me with that in the forum change.
Cheers.

Hello efthimiosdrums,
Don´t worry, it´s not a rule, but I appreciate that "username" transparency thing.
Welcome.
