I met with Steve the other day and this album came up during our conversation. I thought you guys might enjoy this snippet of Trance Dance. One of my favorite sections on the whole album.
My favorite part of Eye of the Beholder.

IMO this is the "unsung" CCEB album.

The most beautiful and musical. Great melodies.
Love Weck's subtle tom/snare work on Eternal Child.
They always did Trance Dance live.

I love the Title track from this album..It's was like the prelude to "Tales of the Daring" on inside out and "illusions" on Beneath the Mask..
This whole album is rich with lovely melodies..

Eye of the Beholder is my favorite CCEB album. Played it to death when it came out. Thanks!

Amnesia is my favorite track. It's the one that feels like the whole band really showed up to create a song rather than showing up to play some of Chick's tunes. The intensity is one I don't think was often captured in a CCEB studio recording. You usually had to go see them live to understand how the pieces fit together. I do love this album, though.
“Let's try some of my songs.” Dave Grohl, top sign drummer will be fired.
