What's the lightest hardware out there?

Hey Guys...I'm looking to replace all my hardware with the goal of finding the lightest stuff out there,, Any suggestions?
And I don't care about the price if they are worth it...

I recently had to pick up a couple boom stands, and I bought a couple of SP percussion stands at GC for about 70 bucks. I was surprised at how light they were and how well made they are. Double braced & everything. They're a ton lighter than my Gibraltar stands. And cheap. So far, so good.

Thanks guys.. Ya Yamaha single brace are great.. But they actually are deceptively heavy compared to some other stuff,.. They don't use cheap metal... The only thing they are lighter than is there double braced haha.. Pearl has a cheaper line that's lighter than the Yammy's ,,.. no where near the value of the Yamaha though for quality..

I'm hoping for crazy, carbon fiber or aircraft aluminum stuff..

Looks promising.. I'd love to have a hardware case that weighs 30 pounds instead of the 60 or 70 I have now..
I have Taye hardware with a Yamaha single brace snare stand which is fairly light,.. ,.. but I'm looking for ridiculously light haha.
My back and stairs with my hardware case don't get along....

What would be cool is if they created a stair roadie assembly that would be able to carry subs and hardware.. Like a modified.

There is definitely a large market segment not being served by traditional drum hardware. I too would welcome lightweight hardware, made of higher quality material. Most hardware out there is made of cheap, and heavy metal.

I have heard that Ludwig is supposed to be releasing a new line of lightweight hardware in a a few months. Possibly at NAMM in January.

I got too old to lug heavy duty hardware around, and my ears became too abused to keep on being a heavy hitter, so I started using some of the vintage stuff from the '60's I had hanging around.

Overall, I like Ludwig; granted, it's not very sturdy, but it's really light, and I have grown to enjoy watching my drums sway back and forth.

The Axis is very light. The hi-hat stand has an odd cup and clutch, but that's easy to work around. Maybe they've changed it; mine is a few years old.

I've been gigging with a few Dixon 610 stands for the last couple of years. They don't look like much, but I've never had an issue with them and my back has never felt better!
