Anyone hear a click before the tune starts (at 1:55) ?
Just curiosity, I just wonder who launchs it.
I can´t see Vinnie doing it.

Yes...i can hear the click......that sounds like a Tama Rhythm watch.....i know you can kick start those metros with a pedal...so you might not see
him start it up.....nice notice....i might have missed it.....the new ones are backlit....so they are handy in low light

You can start the Tama RW with a pedal or trigger(pad) which I preffered. You never miss the pad but you might push the pedal and switch it off at the same time. All these devices suck a bit because there is no midi out except for the Alesis but that one isn't as easy as the RW and Clickstation. So if you work with sequencers you can't be master.

Watching that clip I had to go back with the "Soul Cages Live Tour", on "All This Time", every Vinnie's fills are pure art, enjoy !!!
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

Thanks Rodge! ...love it.

Yeah Rodge that was burning!!!
Something was missing for me from this latest performance, it didn't move me.The older one feels a bit faster, more pushy and all the better for it I feel! I wonder if Vinnie is holding back for these national TV performances before unleashing his usual tasty bits for the live concert performances on the upcoming tour?
I can't decide what my favourite Sting album is but it's close between Soul Cages and Nothing like the Sun! Ten Sumner's Tales, Mercury Falling and Dream of the blue turtles are amazing as well. Hell even Sacred Love and Brand New Day have some good tunes on 'em as well. Are there any other artists that have put out SO MANY amazing albums? Michael Jackson and Steely Dan are definitely in that group IMO.

I felt the same way....I don't like when Vinnie is holding back that much.

Agree 100%.
That song was new then though. To all of them. New and exciting.
P.S. - Sting is looking his age and seems to be mellowing accordingly. Bums me out to see.
