He's been one of my favorite drummers (amongst all of my favorite drummers big and small names) ever since I was first exposed to his playing when I joined HoD a few years back. I follow his stuff on youtube... absolutely killer. Love your stuff Tom!

Thanks so much, guys! You're too kind!!!

LOL Matt! I'll try to work on the seal calls. The sushi part is well covered, though it wasn't represented on this gig. :D

More later....gotta run for now, but thanks for posting, and for the compliments Steve!

Thanks again guys! M13 is an insanely fun gig. Nine horns and 4 rhythm--it's kind of a "small big band" in a way. The leader, Aaron McEvers, does all the writing/arranging, and as you can hear, it's jazzy but also kind of fusion-ey too. ;-)

I've got a Zoom Q3HD and I record every gig (usually just audio, usually from out front), but this was the first time I just put the camera on myself and took video. Shameless, I know. Ha!

Anyone around Chicago--please come check us out! We play the 3rd Tuesday of every month (next one is 11/15). It's a great hang, and they have over 300 beers!

Thanks again,
Tom
