never had any troubles on airplanes, but I have had sticks confiscated (and not returned) at the courthouse before. Most recently, they were discussing whether to confiscate a friggin' SQUISHY BALL. I kid you not. They told me its a good thing I didn't have a guitar. They'd confiscate that too. I could, afterall, take off one of the strings and choke someone with it.
