That dude just kills it every time. He GOES FOR IT on everything he plays. Rudy Ment, who used to post here frequently, turned me on seriously to Lil' Jon Roberts. Incredible player.

jeez what a chopster! gots dennis and daddy dave written all over him along w/ his own thing. making those stage customs sound pretty danged good too. thanks for the post.

Soem early footage of John Roberts. Very nice playing, really flowing.




By the way, in the Montreux video posted by Julian, you want from 20:40 to 26:48, Roberts is featured heavily from 25:15.
Also, from 1:10 with drum solo at 1:!6:40.
