Hearing Dave's drum sound raw makes me feel a LOT better about mine. His kick sounded SUPER dead in that clip? Just the camera or is that how he likes it for the larger venues?

It was fairly dead on that gig (although you are missing some of the ring and overtones on that camera). With loud funk/rock and that many musicians onstage, there's no point in really setting it up wide-open, unfortunately.
