Yeah, I know what you mean, doing other things is important and helps to keep things fresh...
I try to practice during daytime, but if I can´t do it (for whatever reason), I like to spend 1 or 2 hours working on the pad... (Wilcoxon´s Swing Solos and Gary´s Sticking Patterns lately)
