NAMM
Re: NAMM
Looked at those pics- thanks for sharing- at the risk of sounding juvenile, I didn't realize Gavin was that tall ( how tall btw) I always thought he played smaller drums- lol.

That Gretsch kit is HOT!
Re: NAMM
the neil peart kit sure is pretty. each shell is dialed into his tuning. it's a tad overkill on the artwork. it works for them on stage. the cymbals have symbols! why? no one can see them. I wouldn't mind one of his snare drums. i'm sure they all sound great.

Re: NAMM
when you see the artwork in its full context of the kit, t's not overkill be any means

Yes they can. There's an overhead camera at the gigs.

Isn't it all the designs from Rush's past albums, his kick heads, etc?

That was the last-but-one kit. This is a "steam punk" style kit for the Time Machine tour. There's been a "snakes and arrows" kit in the meantime, which was kinda tacky.

That Gretsch Kit is coming to my local drum shop....might take a good look, I liked that retro look, otherwise I'll keep saving for the PHX....
