Those Heuer drums [toms] do sound really great. Great tonal range and great punch, somewhat Yamaha-ish with a little more bottom end. My guess is that Vinnie is gonna stay with this brand. I still don't fanboy about the Paiste's except for that gorgeous China and splashes. I think the ride is just at 'garage band' position to make room for the rh crash.

Yeah I hear those drums being somewhere between Yamaha and Ludwig...not my thing but oh well.

I think his new rig is a HUGE improvement over the Ludwig stuff. Still digging the Paiste's too!

He's obviously feeling the new gear and getting inspired- he's playing so much stuff that the band needs to step things up a bit now.

I have trouble with those Paiste, specialy with that bell on the ride, kills my ears... :-(

Wow. He is burning on those videos! New drum love? Let's hope the honeymoon lasts a long time.

I dig the Paistes. That bell sound is almost a requirement to play Police songs.

Man… he is still so fast. See him going up to his crashes at almost light speed? The man is 58 years old. Unreal.
