He wanted the tips to plated with 14K gold and he wanted the neck to have the shape of Marilyn Monroe's hips. Also, he wanted them to be edible.

Sounds expensive and not very durable. The tips would be recyclable, I reckon. If he opted for chocolate as the material, hopefully it would be raw and organic.

That would indeed be a correct assertion Mr SH.

I use to play with a variety of sticks. The Zildjian Colaiuta stick is the best allround stick ever imho. The sound you get is huge, lot's of low end plus attack. The feel of the stick is great, solid , no flex and the fastest 5B I've ever played with. The wood type is different from Vic Firth, hickory but 'oakish' , less fiber or something. Maybe Zildjian uses a different part of the hickory tree? Would LOVE to have the Zildjian VC stick back as it was. They can call it whatever, call it the Johnston stick , I would still buy it and pay double the price. For real. I still have a few pair of these sticks. I only use them for practice and only on E-drums. They last for years that way.

Yeah. they're much heavier. Nicer finish, too.
Actually, the Vics are so light that when other people try them, they're sure it's maple.
I have a bunch of Zildjians because I went on a bit of a shopping spree when they stopped making them.
