Groovy stuff. Solid playing.
One way to improve your feel and time is to get into some afro-cuban. Lots of rhythmic illusions going on. In fact, I think I need to brush up.

He's been playing with Stanley for a few years now.

Old school Vinny Appice showed up on youtube. Heavy stuff. Vinny is all about intentionality.
Re: Assorted videos / YouTube thread
I guess back then you had to play like Steve Gadd for working...
I always thought it was Gadd, it's Steve Jordan !!!
Love that vibe anyway.

Not a chance. It's definitely Gadd on that track.

My guess is that Jordan played on the song written by Steve Khan.

That's what I thought Paul, but yesterday I sent a PM to Mark Colby via FB/Messenger, he answered me very quick, his words :
"It’s Steve Jordan on that cut. Gadd was on most of it!"

Ha! I say no way. His memory has failed him. Jordan is a monster, and he could probably do a perfect impression of Gadd, but man, I don't believe it. You need to ask Jordan now.
