Train Song is EPIC...Beat Hit is confused, he got stuck in an elevator and the muzak
warped his senses! lol I was waiting for Vinnie to sing lead vocals in the Dixie video...
but he never showed!
First Jing Chi LP is one of the greats...Vinnie's hat work is stupid crazy...could have gone
off the road but his musical wisdom guided him to orchestrating brilliance...where technique
and creativity merge perfectly while supporting the song structure. If VC was a baseball player,
he hit for the cycle on this tune.

As I said, the issue isn't with Vinnie's playing at all... The guitar sound doesn't help either, not a fan.. I have the live CD and listened to it 3-4 times max maybe?

i don't dig the tune either. It's ok. The only reason this tune is super cool is cause of Vinnie's playing. So much concept. The way he applies rhythmic shtick into musical terms in a creative way.

I am really digging Randy Waldman's Superheroes. Me love it!! Wrexcellent intricate arrangements and brilliant performances by all guests. Healthy dose of intensity and YEAH
triggers by Vinnie. How he interprets the tunes, what he chooses to play within context is once again outstanding here, he really goes for it. Talk about taste!! The hit-hat/cross-stick Latin groove on the opening section of the "Spiderman theme" tune really impressed me... A YEAH trigger.. Immediately reminded me of what Alex plays in certain sections of Chick's "Estancia" from the Touchstone album, so authentic. I highly recommend it to all HODers.

Batman Theme on the Randy Waldman's Superheros album is fucking brilliant. The charts at first glance must have been somewhat challenging. Everyone kills it! Vinnie plays lights out perfect. He would sound better playing Zilds
