Always like his drumming, solid and groovy.
Re: Assorted videos / YouTube thread
Hi guys!
I've been busy learning and recording and then posting quite a bit of videos on my YouTube channel lately.
I initially got really inspired by going abroad and checking out Gary Husband´s new video casts series available from his website - http://www.garyhusband.com
And I've just posted more of that stuff and some other drum covers and bits on my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/sturla75.
Been really excited and it really brought back a great big joy and inspiration for playing again. So great to learn new stuff and to be challenged and look forward to learning more stuff.
Btw - here are two examples I've done taken from Gary´s video casts - and the first one is his composition "City Nights" from Allan Holdsworth´s Secrets. The video cast does also include great never before seen Allan Holdsworth live clips also https://garyhusband.com/item/track-analysis-city-nights
And here is Miles Beyond - the Mahvishnu track. The backing track I play to is Gary´s own version where he plays everything else and you can find more info here if you would like to check it out yourself. https://garyhusband.com/item/track-analysis-miles-beyond
Have anyone here done versions from Gary´s video casts? Would love to hear!

Never knew about this.

Love Mikes playing. He fits DT better than the other Mike that played with the band. Smart cat for sure. Knows his math. He's creative on his drum parts.
